Austin Butler Almost Experienced Blindness Before Filming

JAKARTA - Being an actor since childhood, Austin Butler shared the moment he could barely act forever. He revealed that he had experienced temporary blindness two years ago.

Recently he revealed that he had a migraine on the flight to shoot the film The Bikeriders. When he was about to arrive in Cincinnati, Ohio, he felt something that was not a child.

"It feels like life is sucked in my whole body," Austin Butler told Men's Health.

"Suddenly I experienced an euphoric sensation and I thought I was going to die," he said.

His declining health condition was caused by him being too busy filming and lack of time to sleep. Over the past three years, Butler has acted in five films and series.

"For a long time, I felt the process had to be tortured and I looked very sick," he said.

This condition made fellow actor, Laura Dern, advise Butler to take a break in the middle of his busy schedule.

Acting since 2005, Austin Butler has been in the spotlight after playing the biopic Elvis in 2022. Since then, he has played in the film The Bikeriders, Dune: Part Two and Eddington and the Masters of the Air series.

This year he promoted his latest film, Caught Stealing with Zoe Kravitz.
