JAKARTA - The latest Chinese drama, This Thriving Land, has reached a popularity index of up to 10,000. The drama, starring Yang Mi and Oho Ou, is directed by Liu Jiacheng.

Airing since August 13, this drama is an adaptation of Zhao Defa's novel. This series is set in Shandong, China which tells of Ning, Feng, and his family.

This Thriving Land tells of rare rural areas and focuses directly on the relationship between society and agricultural land. This drama avoids a series of scenes full of slogans, building characters, incidents, and history from living logic.

This Thriving Land drama became the most talked about iQiyi title this year and received a response from the audience.

This drama also adds to the title list that gets 10,000 indexes such as Love Between Fairy and Devil, My Heroic Husband, The Knockout, and others.

This Thriving Land tells of Ning Xiu Xiu (Yang Mi), the son of the richest man in Tianniu Temple Village, who has kidnapped bandits on his wedding day.

His father, Ning Xue Xiang (Ni Da Hong) felt hesitant to sell fields to save their child, so he married his sister.

Apart from the two, this drama is also played by Ou Hao, Qin Hai Lu, Xing Fei, Zhang Tian Yang, and so on.
