JAKARTA - MR.D.IY Indonesia Art Competition 2025 was successfully held with the big interest of Indonesian artists. Carrying the theme Identity & Diversity', this event is a series of regional competitions that include Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

The inaugural competition from MR. DIY Indonesia received more than 1,600 registrants from Aceh to Papua, with more than 2,300 works of art included. After a strict judging, the best works of the jury were selected.

In the process of curation and assessment of works of art, MR.D.I.Y Indonesia Art Competition presents professional judges and experts in the arts such as RA Hartanto, Mitha Budhyarto, Abigail Hakim, as well as representatives of MR.D.I.Y. namely Edwin Cheah. The assessment of MR.D.IY Indonesia Art Competition 2025 is based on ideas, creativity, composition, and techniques created in every work of art that comes in.

In approximately one month after the competition closes, we went through a three-stage assessment process considering four main criteria: relevance with themes, concepts and narratives, creativity, as well as technical and visual aspects.
