Najwa Shihab, Raditya Dika, And Nicholas Saputra Invite Gen Z To Explore Passion In The 2025 Campus Generation

JAKARTA - Generation Z or gen Z is the largest and most influential group in shaping Indonesia's future, with a population of 71.5 million people. This is contained in Gen Z Population Data in Indonesia from GoodStatus.

This generation is influential enough to shape the country's future, so for Gen Z finding passion is very important because it is a meaningful part of self-identity for personal fulfillment and building a career future.

However, many of gen Z also face a dilemma between idealism (chasing passion) and realism (economic pressure and social expectations). Therefore, it is important for Gen Z to mentorship from more experienced figures to help explore their passion.

To bridge this, Grab is again holding the 2025 Campus Roadshow Generation, a collaborative initiative that supports the younger generation to explore, understand, and express passions into consistent and impactive actions.

The event was held with the theme 'Passion in Action', which was held on August 26 - December 9 at 6 campuses in six major cities in Indonesia. Surabaya (University Airlangga), Surakarta (University Sebelas Maret), Bogor (Institution Agricultural Bogor), Makassar (University Hasanuddin), Medan (North Sumatra University), and Bandung (Bandung Institute of Technology).

The inspirational figures who will attend the event are Raditya Dika, Najwa Shihab, and Nicholas Saputra. Later there will be interactive discussions between the three and the participants regarding the discovery of passions at a young age.

'Finding passion is a process that should be enjoyed. Having a container containing secrequential friends will make the process easier,' said Raditya Dika, as the writer, comic, and director.

Najwa Shihab himself said that encouraging young people to be confident to think critically and explore their advantages is very important, so discussion spaces are indispensable. Nicholas Saputra also said the importance of consistency and learning space to achieve success.
