Making Men Feel Inferior Is the Reason Marshanda Is Still Single

JAKARTA - After a long absence from her partner, actress Marshanda made a surprising confession.

She revealed that currently no men have approached her, and some have even become so shy that they back off before even trying to get to know her.

The woman, who is familiarly known as Caca, admitted to being surprised because she felt no men were making any serious attempts to approach her.

"No one has approached me, Sis. As far as I know, no one has approached me. There's no such thing as, 'Hey, I'm being approached,'" Marshanda said in South Jakarta on Wednesday, July 30.

She then recounted a specific experience when a friend tried to introduce her to a man. However, the attempt failed miserably because the man felt insecure.

"A friend of mine once said, 'Hey, let me introduce you to my husband's friend, he's still single,'" she said. But then, like, I gave him her number, and then he said, 'Yeah, he doesn't want to WhatsApp you, he says, whatever, because he's insecure,' things like that," Marshanda explained.

This incident has made her now wait for a man who truly has the courage to approach her.

"So, it's like, 'That's it. I'm waiting for someone who, in terms of people, is a guy with guts and courage, that's a plus," she continued.

Despite this, Marshanda emphasized that she is very relaxed and remains open-minded, but she feels she hasn't met the right person yet.

"I'm open-minded, actually. I'm relaxed. But maybe I haven't found the right one yet," Marshanda said.

Her main priority right now is the approval of her daughter, Sienna. She will take her daughter's opinion very seriously if she ever finds a new partner.

"That's better. I prioritize Sienna's opinion as my daughter because if I find another partner, it will definitely have a big impact on Sienna's life," she explained.

Finally, Marshanda revealed her criteria for the ideal man she's looking for. Besides being motivated and having a positive impact, there's one absolute must.

"But my criteria are: I want someone who has their own motivation to advance in life, someone who has an impact on me, an impact on those around him, a positive impact, and the courage to be honest. And one more thing, one more thing: the courage to approach me," she concluded.
