The Indonesia-France Cross-Cultural Fashion Collaboration Presented At JF3 2025

JAKARTA - The JF3 Fashion Festival 2025 inter-cultural fashion collaboration. The collaboration is presented by the Incubator DOOR from Indonesia and the Paris Duperré waycole, a well-known design institution from France.

The collaboration between the two features a collection of bold, experimental, and futuristic. This is a cross-cultural creativity that explores shape, color, and meaning.

At Paris' Duperré 24, there are three students who present their work. First Pierre Pinget with his collection of Mafia, which presents a dramatic touch and avantgarde that creates a tense atmosphere and dark luxury.

"This collection refers to the sartorial tradition to explore ideas about power, disguise, and authority," said Pinget, at Summarecon Mall Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, on Sunday, July 27, 2025.

Then the second student is Bjorn Backes bringing the audience to urban dystopia with a collection entitled Requiem. This combines the future aesthetics with a label and grunge impression.

Then the third student is Mathilde Reaux with his collection of Syrius, who has cosmic nuances and explores the texture, volume, and color of the galaxy that creates the impression of space.

Meanwhile, from Indonesia, several young labels are displayed with extraordinary creativity. Starting from Lil Public with the Hisashi Series collection, which explores the illustration of the unique food monster in urban wear oversized clothing.

There is Dya Sejiwa with a collection of Dimenahs inspired by the butterfly metamorphosis process, and CLV with WIP - Work in Progress with the concept of clothing and bags that can be removed.

Not only that, there is also Miss Rona through her feminine and fresh lava collection, Rizkya Batik with MIMO which combines batik in contemporary form, and Denim It Up with a collection of Futura 488-1 which processes denim with innovative approaches and education.

Each collection shown by the designer brings a different story. However, everything is connected in the same spirit, with collaborations that show how dynamic and diverse perspectives of local and global culture intersect each other.
