Joy Red Velvet Ready To Release New Album, First Comeback!

JAKARTA - Red Velvet's Joy will release her latest album which will make the album her first comeback since becoming a soloist in 2021.

Monday, July 28, SM Entertainment released a video that read, "From JOY, with Love" which is the title of its mini album.

This 18-second video features a green apple which is an iconic symbol of Joy's character in the Red Velvet group. This fruit has been filled with the title of his latest album.

This video is also dominated by green color which is also the representative color of Joy in the group. The album will be released on August 18 digitally and physically.

Joy debuted as a soloist in May 2021 with an album titled Hello which contains six tracks remake of songs from 1990 to 2000. Thanks to this album, he became the first position on Melon and Billboard Hot K-pop.

Joy's solo debut received a positive response with a fresh concept but has a nostalgic feel through the main track.

This year, Joy continued her individual contract with SM Entertainment and became the third member of Red Velvet to renew her, while Yeri and Wendy terminated their individual contracts and continued the group contract.

In addition, Joy is also active as a panelist on variety shows and acting. This new album marks the return of Joy as a musician.
