Peace Proposal Hasn't Been Accepted Yet, Reza Gladys Asks For A Suspension Mediation To Be Postponed

JAKARTA - Reza Gladys's attorney, Robert Par Uhum, expressed his confusion over Nikita Mirzani's decision, which has yet to provide a peace proposal in the mediation of the Wanprestasi case.

Whereas in the previous mediation, the mediator judge suggested that Nikita Mirzani make a peace proposal which would later be re-discussed in mediation.

"And this mediation also made us ask questions, in the first mediation it was agreed that the plaintiff submitted a peace proposal, a proposal," said Robert Par Uhum at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, July 1.

"The promise was submitted on the 24th at Nikita's inaugural trial, but at that time we asked the plaintiff not to hand over it," he continued.

Robert said that Nikita's side argued that they did not need to make a proposal about peace. This is what makes Reza Gladys even more confused.

"He said there was no need for a proposal, if there was no peace proposal from the plaintiff, then what would be discussed in the mediation?" said Robert.

"We should include our proposal to study the proposal if we agree, we are okay, acc, but if there is no proposal, what do we want to respond to in mediation? So this mediation is like joking with this plaintiff. So we don't understand where it is going and the purpose," he said.

This is one of the reasons for Reza Gladys's finally delaying the mediation of the Nikita Mirzani default case.

"What we are waiting for until now is that mediation has not yet been carried out and earlier we tried to contact the Panel of Judges, the mediator judge who was planning to mediate, he happened to be in a trial so that instead of waiting for something uncertain, we asked to postpone it," said Darsono, Reza Gladys's attorney.

"But our hope is that it can be postponed, don't equate the time with this criminal case, so that we can focus on mediation, it's really clear," said Darsono.
