Encourage Cultural Preservation, Hall Of Commitment For 14 Years

JAKARTA - Pendopo marks its 14-year journey as a driver of the preservation of the archipelago culture and empowering local creative actors. Established since 2011, it has actively implemented various social responsibility programs and collaborations to empower craftsmen, MSME players, and local business pioneers.

Putu Laura, Head of Pendopo, said that this moment is not just a celebration of age, but also a form of appreciation for the journey, togetherness, and enthusiasm to continue to liven up Indonesian cultural works.

"We believe that works and culture are two things that are timeless, both must continue to be maintained, developed, and introduced to the present and future generations. The 14th Anniversary is also a form of our appreciation to partners, customers, and communities who have become an important part of this journey. Continuous support is a spirit for us to continue to collaborate and present meaningful programs," he said in a celebration entitled Anniversary Hall: Joint Activities of Work Creators in the Silk Road.

The series of activities involved various elements such as art, culture, and social concern. Starting with the contemporary brand-of-the-artrunk show from designer Adrie Basuki, which displays a collection of collaboration results with the women's community of craftsmen and Pendopo partners. Followed by a makeover session entitled Modern Gray which presents a style transformation for women and men senior (aged 4050+ years), inspired by the trend of K-style seniors.

"We present this program to convey an important message that age is not a limit for a person to express himself. In fact, over time, a person's style and character can be stronger and more authentic," added Putu.

Pendopo also always involves many local and community partners as an important element in building inclusive and sustainable growth.
