As Witness, Attorney Responds to Possibility of Nikita Mirzani and LM Attending Vadel Badjideh's Trial

JAKARTA - Vadel Badjideh's first trial for alleged immoral acts and abortion reported by Nikita Mirzani was officially held at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday, June 25.

In this first trial, Vadel was read out regarding the charges against him, for the next trial there will be witnesses on the agenda which include Nikita Mirzani and her daughter, LM.

Nikita Mirzani's attorney, Fahmi Bachmid hopes that Nikita and LM can attend the trial.

"The first, the first to be presented is Nikita Mirzani, as the reporter and biological mother, after that Laura," said Fahmi Bachmid in the Antasari area, South Jakarta, Wednesday, June 25.

"Regarding who will come, I hope both of them will be brought together, I hope, later I will communicate so that her child can also meet Nikita Mirzani's mother," he continued.

Although Nikita admitted that she was reluctant to meet Vadel Badjideh, Fahmi emphasized that his client must attend.

"Can't, it's mandatory. So maybe he's not ready or what, because that's his child, his only biological child that he loves very much, a child who was funded abroad but it became a mess like this, it hurts," he said.

Without mentioning her identity, apart from Nikita, Fahmi said that there would be other witnesses, more than 10 people.

"Many, many. I know all of them, because I'm the one who looked for them. More (than 10 witnesses)," he said.

"I don't know about doctors, factual witnesses, I have registered them with LPSK, under LPSK protection, later LPSK will bring them," he said.

What is certain is that the witnesses who will attend the trial are witnesses who have been questioned at the South Jakarta Police before.

"All witnesses who have been to the South Jakarta Police, will all be brought to the South Jakarta District Court as witnesses in court, that is the process, the mechanism," said Fahmi.
