South Jakarta Prosecutor's Office Detains Vadel Badjideh For 20 Days At Cipinang Detention Center

JAKARTA - The legal case that ensnared Vadel Badjideh entered a new chapter. After being declared complete (P21), the South Jakarta District Attorney officially made further detention of Vadel in the prosecution stage.

"And on this occasion we will also carry out further detention (of Vadel Badjideh) at the prosecution stage for the next 20 days, which we will carry out at the Cipinang Detention Center," said Prabowo, Head of the South Jakarta District Attorney, Tuesday, June 3.

This detention step is part of the legal process after the case file is declared complete. The Prosecutor's Office also emphasized its commitment to immediately finalize the preparation of the indictment before the case is transferred to court.

"And we, the public prosecutor, will certainly complete the indictment as soon as possible and as soon as possible submit this case to the court. And of course later the community and friends will be able to monitor the next progress," he continued.

The detention for the next 20 days will be used by the Public Prosecutor's Team (JPU) to perfect the material on the indictment against Vadel Badjideh.

"So for the next 20 days we will perfect it, the Public Prosecutor Team (Public Prosecutor) will make an indictment," concluded Prabowo.
