Held Simplely, Titi DJ Explains The Reason Stephanie Poetri Doesn't Use A Ring After Officially Getting Married

JAKARTA - Marriage is a sacred and meaningful moment for every couple, as well as for Stephanie, the daughter of the Indonesian diva, Titi DJ. In the marriage, there are unique and different things compared to marriage in general: the bride and groom do not use the ring as a symbol of ties.

"Stephanie has phobia of everything in the form of jewelry, so the two of them don't wear rings," said Titi DJ, quoted by VOI from Instagram @ti2dj, Monday, June 2.

Despite this, these couples still have their own way of marking their sacred bond.

"But they will have something to sign that they are bound to each other," he continued.

As the daughter of a mix of Indonesian and American cultures, Stephanie chose to present her second identity through the clothes she wore at the wedding.

"Stephanie deliberately combined her clothes between Indonesia and America, he is a mixed child of the two countries," said Titi DJ.

Mix and match style creates a unique appearance but remains elegant.

"He wears a whitelace kebaya top, and a ikat woven cloth, combined with a light blue cowboy boots," explained Titi.

Family clothing also adjusts the concept of modern ethnicity promoted by Stephanie.

"I, Salmama and Salwaa wear a kebaya and modern cloth, Daffa wears a semi-ethnic Indonesian shirt," he explained.

Meanwhile, the family of Stephanie's partner appeared in a more casual dress but still elegant.

"Meanwhile, Asher and his family wear casual neat suits," he concluded.

Previously, Titi DJ revealed that her daughter was officially married to Asher Novkov-Bloom on Saturday, May 30 yesterday at Beverly Hills Courthous, Los Angeles, USA and was attended by the nuclear family.

Stephanie's plan will hold a wedding reception in Indonesia in July or August.
