JAKARTA - In this fifth month, there are many Korean dramas that have been confirmed to air. A wide selection of genres from fantasy to history dominate this month's list.

Bossam: Steal the Fate (April 1)

Bossam: Steal the Fate tells the story of Ba-Woo (Jung Il Woo) who likes to steal, fight, gamble and do bossam - a term for kidnapping a widow for marriage. One day he kidnaps the wrong person, Princess Soo-Kyung (Kwon Yuri), the daughter of Prince Gwanghae whose lover left him. The drama will air on MBN every Saturday and Sunday.

Youth of May (3 May)

Set in May 1980, Hee Tae (Lee Do Hyun) meets Myung-Hee (Go Min Si). Hee Tae is a medical student and Myung-Hee is a nurse who worked for three years. The two met in the middle of the Gwangju Democratization Movement. Youth of May will air on KBS2 and VIU.

Imitation (May 7)

Adapted from a webtoon of the same name, Imitation tells the life of K-pop groups: Tea Party, SHAX, Sparkling, and soloist LA LIMA. In the midst of competition, they find friends and love. Imitation airs every Friday on KBS2 and iQiYi.

Mine (May 8)

Replacing Vincenzo, the Korean drama Mine tells of the competition of two female socialites who try to be free from prejudice in the world. Seo Hee-Soo (Lee Bo-Young) and Jung Seo-Hyun (Kim Seo-Hyun) are the sons-in-law of a conglomerate family. Mine will be available on tvN and Netflix starting May 8.

Doom at Your Service (May 10)

This fantasy romance genre drama tells of Myul Mang (Seo In Guk), a person who has the ability to destroy everything he touches. Tak Dong Kyung (Park Bo Young) risked his life. Doom at Your Service is also played by Lee Soo Hyuk, Shin Do Hyun, and Kang Tae Oh. The drama will air on tvN and VIU every Monday and Tuesday.

Got a Plan (May 19)

Lee So-Hyun (Kim Hwan-Hee) works as an employee of a chicken restaurant owned by Lee Jae-Youn (Ryu Soo-Young), someone who is kind and helpful. Got a Plan will air on MBC every Wednesday and Thursday.

My Roommate is a Gumiho (May 26)

This drama tells of Lee Dam (Hyeri) who accidentally swallows a 999 year old gumiho (nine-tailed wolf) marble named Shin Woo Yeo (Jang Ki Yong). There is a news that a human who swallows the marble can only live for a year. The two of them tried to get the marble out of Lee Dam's body. This drama will air on tvN and iQiYi.
