KCBN Muarajambi Worth Knowing The World, Ministry Of Culture Invites Foreign Media To Promote

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Culture invites foreign and national media to Jambi in order to introduce the Muarajambi National Cultural Conservation Area (KCBN) to be better known in the international world.

"There are many things that can be written friends in the context of this tour, tomorrow (18/5/2025) we will travel around to see the temple area and other interesting things there," said the Director of Cultural Promotion at the Ministry of Culture, Undri in Jambi, Saturday.

He said the Ministry of Culture wanted historical relics in Indonesia to be better known abroad.

For this reason, the promotional tour of the Muarajambi National Cultural Heritage Area by cooperating with national and international media including the National Geograpic Indonesia, Vietnam News Agency, Good News From Indonesia, Voice of America (VOA) is expected to be achieved.

KCBN Muarajambi is one of the places for Buddhist religious activities in Indonesia. It is hoped that this activity can become writing material that deserves to be known by the wider community, including the international community.

In front of journalists present, the Head of the Preservation Center for Culture Region V Agus Widiatmoko said, many things could be interesting writing materials.

KCBN Muarajambi is a masterpiece that is the center of Budhha worship.

He said, After being revitalized, KCBN Muarajambi's condition was getting better.

Communities around the buffer area together with local governments and various parties are united to maintain the legacy of the lamp.

The Ministry of Culture through the Directorate General of Diplomacy, Promotion, and Cultural Cooperation collaborated with dozens of local, national and foreign media to participate in the promotional tour of KCBN Muarajambi.

The program for the past four days will be filled with field tour activities, the introduction of KCBN Muarajambi and Gastronomi Jambi, seeing firsthand the celebration of the 1947 Saka Vesak Day, evaluation and strengthening narratives.

Meanwhile, the ministry was attended directly by the Expert Staff of the Ministry of Culture, Director General of Diplomacy, Promotion and Culture Cooperation, Director of Culture Promotion, Head of the Cultural Preservation Center V. Head of the Sub-Directorate of Media Relations of the Directorate of Culture Promotion, Team of the Directorate of Cultural Promotion and Center for Preservation of Culture Region V.
