Atalarik Syach Land Dispute Heats Up, House Execution Continues

The land dispute between Atalarik Syach and Dede Tasno returned to heat after the execution of the house that Atalarik lived in was carried out. Dede Tasno's attorney, Eka Bagus Setyawan, explained in detail the background to the execution.

"So it is indeed all media colleagues who are clearly known. So the 15-day case is ongoing, until we submit a request for execution. And the case has actually been submitted in 2021," explained Eka Bagus Setyawan, Dede Tasno's lawyer in the Cibinong area, Bogor, Friday, May 16.

Eka added that during the legal process, Atalarik had filed a fight, but all these efforts were rejected by the court, including the Supreme Court.

"Then by the petitioner, namely Atalarik, filed a resistance rebuttal. And all rejected by the court, even the attorney general's office. Therefore, the time is running, until now we have carried out the execution," he continued.

"In fact, our mediation space is open as wide as possible. For 10 years, there was no response, and it was Atalarik's refusal. Therefore, yesterday until now, we submitted a request for execution through the Cibinong District Court. We are submitting an execution," said Eka.

He also explained that most of the disputed land was under the building of Atalarik's main house and his brother's house.

"Even until yesterday afternoon, we opened up again because they asked for it. Because of the land, some of this, 2 per 3 of it, it hit the house. It hit Atalarik's house. So this is the main house. If that's the house of his brother. So like that, we had time to open the room," he said.

However, until the specified time limit, there was no response from Atalarik, so the execution continued.

"Until yesterday we waited at 7 o'clock, even at 8, we waited for 9 o'clock. There was no answer and there was no certainty. So to this day, we are proposing further executions," said Eka.

However, his party still provides peace opportunities if Atalarik wants to provide fair compensation, with a strict time limit.

"If it is agreed today that Atalarik wants to propose peace, in the sense that he wants to provide compensation, we will wait. We will give it time, it's just not long. Because the legal process must continue. We will wait until 10 o'clock," he concluded.
