Jumbo Film Successfully Touches 9.4 Million Viewers On Day 43 Of Screening

JAKARTA - The animated film by Indonesian children, Jumbo has touched 9.4 million viewers. This is reported through the official Instagram account for the film Jumbo.

"9,474,665 viewers have been fascinated to see Atta's lights made on the 43rd day of broadcast," wrote the Jumbo film account quoted by VOI from Instagram @jumbofilm_id, Tuesday, May 13.

Of course, for this figure, the Jumbo film is grateful for the participation of all the viewers who are still loyal to watch Ryan Adriandhy's film.

"Thank you so many times for those of you who have come to the cinema to laugh, be moved, and even be willing to watch it many times!" he continued.

Jumbo tells the story of Don, a 10-year-old orphan who is often underestimated because of his large body. He has a fairy tale book inherited from his parents which is full of illustrations and magical stories. This book is a source of inspiration and escape for Don from an unfriendly world.

Trying to prove his abilities, Don intends to join a talent show by showing a stage play inspired by the book. However, the book was stolen by a friend, making Don desperate.

In despair, Don meets Meri, a mysterious little fairy who asks for his help to find his parents. This meeting began a magical adventure that changed Don's view of himself, taught him the meaning of true friendship, courage, and confidence, as well as strengthening the bonds of friendship that had just been formed.

The film was directed by Ryan Adriandhy and produced by Visinema Studios with Springboard and Anami Films. Jumbo features the voices of Prince Poetiray as Don, Quinn Salman as Meri, and Bunga Citra Lestari and Ariel NOAH as Don's parents. The film premiered in Indonesian cinemas on March 31, 2025.
