JAKARTA Senior Actor Agus Kuncoro revealed the interesting facts behind the shooting process for his latest film directed by Anggy Umbara. During his visit to the VOI office in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, May 6, Agus said that the weapon used in the film was not a replica, but a real weapon.

"Oh yes. The weapons used here are also real weapons. Real, yes. Because Mas Anggy never wanted us to be closed or on a cover like that using a replica weapon or something like that. No, no, no. It has to be real," said Agus Kuncoro.

He explained that the use of real weapons was nothing new, because in the previous Anggy film project the same approach had been made. Agus said that the players were provided with training from professional instructors in order to handle weapons safely and appropriately.

"Well, previously, the previous film was also the film Mas Anggy too, it was also tight, so there are instructions on how to hold a gun and all kinds of things. So it's been prepared to hold a gun," he continued.

According to Agus, the use of real weapons also encourages actors to appear more realistic, not too much in playing action scenes.

"It means that sometimes people like to hold weapons like this. Oh, that's right. It's not like that, we just hold the best weapon in normal," he explained.

Interestingly, in the film Agus Kuncoro plays the character of a former soldier. Therefore, the accuracy in holding and using weapons is an important part of the role he plays.

"Moreover, I am a former soldier in this film. So it really has to be right how to hold the gun. And there are instructors there who are watching," he concluded.
