JAKARTA - Actress Asmara Abigail has just tasted a different experience in her acting career where she is trusted to play Jihan, an older brother in an orphanage in the Muslihat film, a role that she thinks is very far from her personal character.

The process of exploring this figure has also become an emotional and learning journey for Asmara.

"The new experience of being a brother, so it's calmer, older, more very, very new character for me, thank you for Ka Chairun Nissa for giving me the opportunity to play this," said Asmara Abigail when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, April 8.

Asmara admitted that the character she played was very different from the one she used to perform. Moreover, the role of being an older brother who has to protect makes him feel more real and mature.

"The role of being a sister is very different, this is very real, more small, it's very different for the children," he continued.

As a person who is used to living independently and enjoying loneliness, Asmara feels that playing a person responsible for her younger siblings is a challenge in itself.

"Because I happen to be very happy alone, I quite like what I am, so to be a brother and have to take care of my brothers and sisters, they are very challenging," he said.

Dalam proses pendalaman karakter, ia juga banyak bermbahas dengan teman-teman yang memiliki pengalaman serupa agar bisa menghadirkan emosi yang authentication dalam aktingannya.

"It's like chatting with my friends who have a lot of younger siblings, chatting with my friends who happen to be orphanages too, so it's like a lot of my personal experiences that I put into this character," explained Asmara.
