JAKARTA - The aftermath of a vacation action to Japan without permission at the moment of Eid, celebrity and Regent of Indramayu Lucky Hakim finally had to fulfill the call of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

In this call, Lucky admitted that 43 questions were asked for approximately 2 hours related to the facilities he used for vacation. Lucky emphasized that all he did was use personal money.

"There were about 43 questions, there were more than 2 hours earlier regarding in general when to depart, then what facilities I used, I explained that I departed from April 2 and returned to Indonesia on April 7, did not use state facilities, personal money, had nothing to do with the local government on holiday together," explained Lucky Hakim at the Ministry of Home Affairs Office, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, April 8.

Lucky even provided all the supporting evidence that his trip to Japan with his family did not use state facilities.

"So that's what I understand whether I use official travel, whether the APBD budget money, no, I show the evidence, I use private tickets, I also go there with my family so I don't bring with my aide or aspri or special staff," he explained.

"Even to the airport, it was not delivered. Even from the airport, the state facilities did not pick them up. So this is purely a family vacation, going with family using personal funds. That's what I explained and I submitted the evidence," he continued.

Previously, Lucky Hakim had admitted his mistake and apologized for his negligence in understanding the Regulation of Regional Heads to Foreign Affairs as regulated in Law Number 23 of 2014 concerning Regional Governments.

He also said that he was ready to accept sanctions from the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding this incident.

"That's right (ready to receive sanctions), I did something wrong. Whatever the reason, I did it, I was wrong, I'm sorry," said Lucky Hakim.

"Essentially, I did something, I'm sorry, the rest hasbunallah, if the sanction is that I have to be dismissed for 3 months, I have to do that, I have to accept that with all the consequences," he concluded.

On the other hand, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Home Affairs Husni Tambunan said that the Ministry of Home Affairs was investigating this incident and would decide the sanction against Lucky Hakim for 14 days after being questioned.

"14 days of examination carried out by the Inspectorate, we will report the results to the Minister of Home Affairs," he explained.
