Suzy And Lee Jin Wook Star In The Film Romance Adaptation Of New Novels

JAKARTA - Suzy and Lee Jin Wook were paired in the latest romance film entitled 7 a.m. Breakfast Meeting for the Heartbroken. This film is an adaptation of a novel released in 2012 and written by Baek Young Ok.

Film 7 a.m Breakfast Meeting for the Heartbroken tells the story of Sa Gang (Suzy) and Ji Hoon (Lee Jin Wook) who meet at a breakfast session for people who have broken hearts. In this moment, they share their stories and face heartbreak.

Filming for this film has started since December 2024 and ends this month. The production team shared photos of Suzy and Lee Jin Wook holding cakes for the celebration of the completion of the film.

Besides the two, this film is also played by Yoo Ji Tae and Geum Sae Rok. Suzy plays Sa Gang, a woman who just broke up with her boyfriend named Jung Soo (Yoo Ji Tae).

"I'm very happy to work with the directors and actors. While remembering the joy of reading the novel, it feels foreign to see the process become a film," said Suzy.

Lee Jin Wook plays Ji Hoon, an instructor who has a long-distance relationship with Hyun Jung (Geum Sae Rok).

"I'm happy to be able to finish filming but I'm also sad. I was able to get positive energy during filming because I worked with the amazing actors," said Lee Jin Wook.

"We were able to finish filming because of the efforts and considerations of staff and actors," said director Im Sun Ae.

Film 7 a.m. Breakfast Meeting for the Heartbroken is planned to hit theaters in the second half of this year.
