Tatum To Chris Hemsworth Confirmed Playing In Avengers Movie: Doomsday

JAKARTA - Marvel Entertainment through its YouTube channel uploaded a video announcing the cast of Avengers: Doomsday. The 38th Marvel Cinematic Universe film will later be enlivened by a mix of the main cast of the MCU project, actors from the X-Men world, as well as new stars for the new film to air, Fantastic Four: First Steps.

So far, the cast announced in the video include Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, total Russell, Tenoch Hourta, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Grammer, Lewis Pullman, and Danny Ramirez.

Interestingly, in the film Avengers: Doomsday, there will be several X-Men stars returning. The mutant actor including Patrick Stewart, whose Professor Charles Xavier was killed in Logan and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is back.

Then also Ian McKellen, who was last seen as Magneto in X-Men: Days of Future Past, James Marsden (Cyclops) and Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), who started a modern era of superhero films with X-Men in 2000.

They will join Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler) from X2: X-Men United and Kelsey Grammer (Beast) from X-men The Last Stand who appeared as a kameo in the post-credit scene of The Marvels.

Fantastic Four members were also present on the cast list, including Pedro Pascal (Mr. Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby (The Invisible Woman), Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Thing) and Joseph Quinn (The Human Torch).

Avengers: Doomsday is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, also known as the Russo Brothers. The film is scheduled to hit theaters in the United States on May 1, 2026, from Marvel Studios.

Avengers: Secret Wars, which is also directed by Russo, will arrive on May 7, 2027. Spider-Man 4, starring Tom Holland, will be released between the two films on July 31, 2026.
