Mat Solar's Family Reaches Peaceful Agreement Regarding Land Dispute Money

JAKARTA - The land dispute involving the family of the late Mat Solar finally found a bright spot. Peace between the family and Haji Idris was facilitated by Cinere Serpong Jaya, with an agreement that had been considered by Mat Solar's heirs.

"Finally, on Wednesday, Cinere Serpong Jaya facilitated, there is this peace, considering Mas Idham (Mat Solar's son and heirs) and his family, that's right," said the attorney for the family of Mat Solar, Khairul Imam, in Kembangan, West Jakarta, Sunday, March 23.

This decision was taken with the awareness that both parties needed each other, so they chose to resolve the problem peacefully.

"The deceased is also gone, we both need each other, so we make peace," he continued.

For Mat Solar's family, this peace gives peace, especially because the struggle that has been carried out has finally paid off.

"If you say calm, yes, of course because what has been fought for has been achieved. Until March 26, there was finally a disbursement," added Khairul.

Regarding the distribution of funds amounting to Rp3.3 billion, Khairul revealed that the exact amount given to Haji Idris was not stated in the agreement. However, he ensured that some of the funds would indeed be given to him.

"Regarding how much the problem is divided, it is not contained in peace. I admit that there is money that will be given to Haji Idris. From the beginning, the consignment money was contested for Rp. 3.3 billion. It is impossible not to be given to Idris," said Khairul.

For him, the most important thing is that both parties have accepted and made peace sincerely. "But the most important thing is that they are both sincere and at peace," he continued.

Even so, Khairul emphasized that the portion received by Idris did not reach 50 percent of the total existing funds.

"I don't think so (for Idris), 50 percent don't arrive. If my percentage is not understood and this is very closed. But definitely below that, it can't be 50 percent," he said.
