JAKARTA - Umbara Brothers Film has launched an official poster and trailer for the film Gundik. Directed by Anggy Umbara, the film starring Luna Maya is scheduled to premiere in theaters on 22 May.

Through this film, Anggy who also wrote a scenario tries to explore the horror-heist genre with comedy clothes. He called Gundik's film one of the idealistic projects that had been prepared for a long time.

"This Gundik film premises the story of four robbers who want to rob a concubine's house, which people say has a lot of wealth, but it turns out that this widow is a different person," said Anggy Umbara at a press conference for the launch of posters and trailers in Senayan, Central Jakarta, Sunday, March 16.

The widow figure is played by Luna Maya. Gundik this one is not just a 'save' woman from the ruling people, she is also the incarnation of the Nyai, the Ruler of the South Sea Beach.

Luna Maya, who is the first time she has received the role of a concubine like in this film, admitted that she was confused to understand the characters she played. He said his role this time was a very dark figure.

As for the determination of the official poster for the film Gundik through a story that is no less interesting. Anggy said that the initial poster 'which features a scenesclist in a bath (bathtub) from the back view' was set by the Film Censorship Institute (LSF) for ages 21 years and over. After returning to the team, an official poster was finally set featuring a concubine in the bath from above. The submission of this second poster was also set by the LSF for all ages.

Different from the film poster in general, which is taken through a special photo session, the official poster for the film Gundik is actually taken from the scene in the film. With an additional visual touch, the upper bath tub is depicted as the snake's eye.
