Reporting from the Robb Report page, the French fashion house Rabanne launched a bag that is claimed to be the most expensive bag in the world in the 2025 spring fashion show in Paris.

This small metal bag is called Nano Bag. This luxury bag is made of 18 carat gold. This exclusive work was inspired by the iconic mini dress designed by the late designer waste Hardy in 1968.

A dress made of 1,000 gold plates and decorated with 300 carats of diamonds. This makes it one of the most expensive dresses of the time. While attending a jewelry exhibition in Paris, Hardy had to be escorted by security officers and transported by armored cars.

This luxury bag is called 1969 Golden Bag. This luxury bag is the result of Rabanne's collaboration with the jewelry craftsman Arthus Bertrand.

"This bag is made from gold plates which are assembled manually, it takes 100 hours for the work. The price reaches 250 thousand euros or IDR 4.4 billion," said Rabanne's creative director, Julien Dossena.

Rabanne itself is known for its futuristic designs that have used unique materials such as metal, paper, and plastic since its founding in 1966. In a fashion show at Paris Fashion Week, which was attended by celebrities such as Cardi B, Ed Westwick, and Camila Cabello, Rabanne also introduced two innovative accessories.

Rabanne showed off 1969 Glass Bag, a glass bag surelle by Italian glass company Venini. In addition, 1969 Ceramic Bag, a bag made from small clay slabs made by the Astier de Villatte workshop in Paris.

"These three bags are really amazing works." said Dossena to WWD.

These exclusive bags can be ordered at the Rabanne boutique in Paris. Meanwhile, Birkin's bag from Hermès remains a symbol of status at fantastic prices. Many celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Kris Jenner, and Victoria Beckham collect it.
