Raffi Ahmad Believes That Running Marathon In Various Regions Can Lift Indonesian Tourism

Raffi Ahmad expressed his joy regarding the many marathon running events that were being held in various regions. He felt that this event was not just a running competition, but also part of the promotion of Indonesian beauty in the eyes of the world.

"If I run in the marathon, it depends on the order of Pocari Sweat, how many kilos. But, I think I just want to enjoy running, but here I am happy with the 2025 Lombok Run Pocari event," said Raffi Ahmad in Senayan, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, March 11.

For him, the presence of this event is proof of collaboration between the private sector and the government in advancing Indonesian sports and tourism.

"This is a private collaboration with the central government, together with local governments, so moreover this can raise tourism as well, sports and tourism as well, which may be InJourney and the Ministry of Tourism can add more details," he continued.

As someone who has run in various countries, Raffi emphasized that Indonesia remains the best place to enjoy this sport.

"And this can also be a face where a beautiful running place is, I run abroad, wherever the most beautiful is in Indonesia, especially we are Indonesians", said Raffi Ahmad.

Marketing Director of PT Amerta Indah Otsuka, Wina stated, "Bandung already has a special place in the hearts of runners. And we want to continue to contribute, not only for the better public health, but also to support Indonesian tourism destinations through sporting events," said Wina.

"With full support from the Ministry of Tourism, Kemenpora, and InJourney, it makes us excited to add a special Sweat Run Pocari location in its 12th year, namely in Lombok," he continued.

Held for the first time since 2014, this marathon running event in the 12th year brings fresh air to sports lovers running by adding to running activities in the new area, namely Lombok. Held on September 14th and will start and finish from the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.

It is estimated that a total of 7,000 runners will make Lombok in this event through the marathon, half marathon, 10K, and category 4.3K which surrounds 1 circuit track.
