JAKARTA - Athalla Naufal admitted that he received a lot of protests from netizens because the news that he proposed to Elina Joerg was just a form of promotion for his latest song.

He said that he received comments of disappointment from netizens after knowing the truth.

"Well, thank God, there are many people who relate too. But what they love is like, oh, this is not really dating, because it fits really well. The most comments are like that," said Athalla Naufal in Tendean, South Jakarta, Sunday, March 2.

Venna Melinda's second child has no problem with netizens' comments and considers it a natural thing.

"Yes, it's not wrong either, because netizens are free to operate once again," he continued.

Athalla said that at this time he did not have a plan to establish a relationship with anyone. Although his relationship with Elina is fine.

"But I really just focus here wanting to release a song. If we have a relationship with Elina, we are good friends," explained Athalla.

When asked about having an affair with Elina, Athalla emphasized that she just wanted to be friends.

"Elina is a really good person, from the start she met, from the start she knew the person was easy going, and was very humble. Yes, in the future, I don't know yet, but for now we are making friends," said Athalla.

"But the point is for Elina, I also hope that in the future she can get the best partner," he said.
