Urine Positive, Fariz RM Cooperative During Investigation Of Cases Of Alleged Drug Abuse

JAKARTA - Fariz RM tested positive for drugs after a urine test was carried out by the police. This was conveyed directly by Kompol Nurma Dewi, PLH Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"(The duration of drug use) is clearly still being investigated. What is clear is that the urine checks of the two are positive," said Nurma Dewi at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Wednesday, February 19.

However, the police confirmed that Fariz RM's condition was currently in good condition and he was cooperative during the examination.

"Now he is in good condition, he is again asked for information, he answered clearly," said Nurma.

Regarding this case, Fariz RM was charged with an article that regulates narcotics abuse.

"So the article that is enforced is article 114 paragraph 1 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 25 of 2009 concerning Narcotics. The threat of a minimum sentence of 5 years in prison is a maximum of 20 years," he added.

Previously, Fariz RM along with one other person, ADK was officially named a suspect in the alleged drug abuse case by the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"Then the identity of the one who has now become a suspect, yesterday it was secured and then now he is a suspect, namely the initials ADK, 46 years later FRM (Fariz RM), 66 years old," explained Nurma.
