Paula Verhoeven Presents Witness, Denies Baim Wong's Claim About Children Experiencing Trauma

JAKARTA - Paula Verhoeven and Baim Wong's divorce trial was held again. The agenda for the trial is the fact witness from Paula's side where the witness presented denied the issue that the child was traumatized.

"Earlier there were two witnesses. The two witnesses who denied that the most basic was related to the child being traumatized," said Alvon Kurnia Palma, Paula Verhoeven's attorney at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Wednesday, February 19.

"Whether it is really trauma or not, let the person tell it himself. And the essence is that we want to tell it. Because this is considering the growth and development of children," he continued.

He also emphasized that parents still have an important role in children's lives, so there is no need for parties to feel better than others.

"Both parents are good. The two parents are both loved by their children. And that's why at this time we will not tell that," he explained.

Furthermore, Alvon requested that the legal process put forward the evidence presented at the trial, not just news that developed in the media.

"But we want to ask the judge one thing, that the evidence at the trial will be considered, not the evidence in the news. That's roughly our friends. Maybe Baim's lawyer Fahmi also conveyed it," he hoped.

Finally, he emphasized that the witnesses presented had strong validity to refute the arguments submitted by other parties.

"But in essence, our witness at this time wants to argue from what they have argued. We don't need much, but that's the validity of the person who conveys and the evidence we will present," he said.
