Play Father's Role, Oka Antara Makes Bad Guys Series The Most Personal Project

JAKARTA - Oka Antara played a role in Vidio's latest series, Bad Guys. He co-stard with Maudy Effrosina, Dwi Sasono, Randy Pangalila, and Omara Esteghlal in the Korean drama adaptation series of the same name.

In this series, Oka Antara plays Jaka, a policeman who obeys the rules and is asked to investigate a mysterious murder case involving his closest people.

"I didn't watch the original Korean drama not because I didn't like it, but I prefer sad Korean dramas like Hi Bye Mama, Reunited Worlds," Oka Antara said at a press conference at CGV Grand Indonesia, Jakarta on Tuesday, February 18.

Interested in the concept of a story related to criminals catching criminals. Playing many series, Bad Guys has been named Oka as his most personal project.

"You could say a personal project because the project started in September and the character was a father who had just left a daughter," said Oka Antara.

"In the same month, I have to let my child go to school in the United States. Almost all of the sadness I use for the scene. One of my pride projects," he said.

Having a varied age distance, the 43-year-old actor has a simple way to form chemistry with other players. 'It's simple. Dad jokes," said Oka Antara.

The Bad Guys series tells the story of Jaka (Oka Antara) and Sekar (Maudy Effrosina), two policemen assigned to solve a mystery murder case. Surrendering to the results that were repeated, the two decided to work with three inmates to catch the mastermind. The Bad Guys series is available for 10 episodes and releases starting February 21 in Vidio.
