Aespa And Jennie BLACKPINK Receive Billboard Women In Music 2025 Award

JAKARTA - Two singers from South Korea, aespa and Jennie BLACKPINK will receive awards at the Billboard Women in Music 2025. This event is a form of appreciation for women who develop the music industry and inspire change.

Billboard announced the winners who will receive awards at this year's event. Aespa will receive the Group of the Year 2025, while Jennie will receive the Global Force Award.

Aespa, who dominated Daesang in 2024, started a new year with this global award. With various singles, the group of four members proved their concept to be accepted by the public.

In addition, aespa is continuing the Synk: Parallel Line tour in the United States and the European continent which will end this March.

Jennie received an award as part of global K-pop music. Success with BLACKPINK, Jennie confirmed her name by releasing a single mantra and Love Hangover.

The cast of The Idol series will launch her first album titled Ruby on March 7 and a hearing session held in three countries at once.

Apart from the two, there are various names such as Erykah Badu who received the Icon Award, Gracie Abrams who received the Songwriter of the Year, Meghan Trainor who received the Hitmaker Award.

Meanwhile, the Billboard Women in Music Awards 2025 will be held on March 29, 2025 on YouTube Theater, Inglewood, California.
