Scarlett Johansson Kecam AI After The Debate Video With Kanye West Viral

JAKARTA - Scarlett Johansson made a response after her video with Kanye West which was made with AI (artificial intelligence) went viral.

The video circulating shows him with Jack Black, Drake, Mila Kunis, Steven Spielberg and others wearing a T-shirt and they make a midfinger gesture as a form of resistance to antisemites.

Annoyed that his name was linked, Johansson criticized AI in his statement. "I am a Jewish woman who has no tolerance for antisemites or hate messages."

"But I also believe the hate messages that AI shares are a big threat rather than one person responsible. We must condemn the abuse of AI, whatever the message is or we lose hold on to reality," he said.

"Unfortunately, I became a public victim of AI, but in reality the AI threat has an impact on all of us. There is 1000 feet of waves related to AI to progressive countries not only the United States," continued Colin Jost's wife.

"I urge the US government to make the ratification of laws that limit the use of AI a top priority; this is a bipartisan issue that greatly affects mankind's future in general," he said.

This is not the first time that Scarlett Johansson has expressed criticism of AI. In November 2023, she sued an AI application that used her name and appearance in an online advertisement. She also made an open letter to OpenAI after they used her voice in the 2013 film Her as inspiration for the Sky program.

"When I heard the sound of the demo, I was shocked, angry and couldn't believe (CEO OpenAI) was chasing a voice similar to mine, even my friends and the news couldn't tell the difference," said Scarlett Johansson.
