Former Fiance Reveals Reasons For Breaking Up With Liam Payne: Drugs Are Influence

JAKARTA - Maya Henry opened her voice about her relationship with the late Liam Payne. Four months after he died, he finally spoke to the public for the first time.

Maya Henry was mentioned as the reason Liam Payne died. He, who wrote a book and shared his experience, received criticism from the public for his story.

Now, Maya Henry explains why she separated from Liam Payne. They experienced breakups from 2018 to 2022.

He (Liam Payne) is a person I love very much. Actually, the use of drugs and addiction that separated us. Everyone who has had contact with such people knows how difficult it is," Maya Henry told Rolling Stone.

The autopsy stated that the body of the One Direction member contained alcohol, cocaine, and anti-depression when he died.

"When I love him, he does things that hurt me in things I never fully understand, and continues to hurt me after we separated," he explained.

"In drugs, he becomes an unknown person, different from when he realized. I kept hoping every incident would be a call for him to seek help, but that didn't happen," he said.

"I try to always be there for him, I love him so much that I feel I can fix it," said Maya Henry.

Meanwhile, he realized Liam Payne also had personal problems that led him to seek escape to drugs.

"I know some part of him, who he is not even ready for in our relationship. In the end it was not just betrayal or addiction that separated us, but my consciousness spent years on something I didn't expect. I don't blame him," Henry said.

Liam Payne and Maya Henry began in touch in August 2018 and got engaged in 2020 before finally breaking up in 2021. They had time to get back to their relationship to finish in 2022.
