Director Hanung Bramantyo said about the trip he was looking for the character player Daku in his latest film, Cinta Is Never Timely.

Hanung initially had difficulty getting an Indonesian actor who was right for this character even though he had audited several names.

"Like what Azlin said earlier, this was our first true badge. Then suddenly I found it very difficult to find the right guy. If maybe a girl player can imagine that a, b, if a guy is a bit heavy, it's difficult," said Hanung Bramantyo in Senayan, Central Jakarta, Monday, February 10.

Then, Hanung said it took one year to finally find the figure of Refal Hady who was deemed worthy of playing Daku in this film.

"Over a year. That's a scenario, Haki and I are ready, we always work on the script for a long time. The song is also ready," he added.

Therefore, after finally finding Refal Hady who was considered suitable, Hanung felt like he had become a destiny.

"I don't know, I don't just fit in. There is this, I'm not creative. I don't want to mention it, yes, there are several Indonesian male actors," he explained.

"It's not a matter of handsomeness, it's not a matter of whether you can play or not, especially about followers, I don't care about that. But it's just a matter of time. Yes, it turned out to be like fate, like it was real," said Hanung.
