JAKARTA - In divorce, many factors can affect a person's decision to remain loyal or even betray his partner. Whether a partner is cheating or not, it could depend on his profession, claims a divorce lawyer.

Kate and Chris, lawyers who used to handle divorce from Simonds Law Group in Arizona, United States often share insights about common reasons for separation and how to deal with the divorce process.

In a video posted on a TikTok account, Kate shares three jobs where the man is less likely to cheat, based on her experience in dealing with divorce cases.

If you are in a relationship with a man of this type of work, you are safe. If you have experienced betrayal, it is very painful. So don't take this as an exact science," Kate said in the video, quoted by VOI from the Daily Mail page on Thursday, February 6.

Kate then mentioned the first job, where the smallest man to cheat on is an accountant.

"I think you are quite safe with an accountant," he said convincingly.

Kate explained that she often sees 'a fairly common personality type' among men in this financial field.

"You have to be fine without worrying about an affair with an accountant," he continued.

According to Kate, the next profession with the least chance of cheating is pharmacists. However, this lawyer later revealed the least likely job of cheating, namely a farmer.

"If you are married or in a relationship with a farmer, I predict there will be no affair," said Kate.

Kate also made another video to share the most rarely cheated on professions by women, namely mediates and accountants.

According to the Smith Investigation Agency, by 2025, men are still more likely to cheat than women. Based on the latest data from the General Social Survey, 20 percent of men are married and 13 percent of married women admit that they have had sex with other people, apart from their partners. Although experts seem confident in their findings, the audience gives their own opinion.

"Accountants counting numbers, and cheating are not financially responsible," wrote the netizen jokingly.

According to Bavna Rai Thatha, a counselor who is accredited at the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy, the signs of very rarely being recognized by a partner are cheating, which is more than just a subtle change in behavior.

Often, cheating people will lose interest in having sex, because they do it elsewhere. However, Bavna said this was not always true.

"Intimacy is physical and emotional. What you have shared with your partner is very sacred. It really binds us." he added.

"The increase in the use of cell phones, becoming more easily offended, and gaslighting (manipulating a partner to doubt the reality) is a sign of infidelity." he continued.
