YG Entertainment Will Close Actor Management, YG Stage

JAKARTA - YG Entertainment announced they will end the actors' management operations to focus on music. It is known that YG Entertainment has YG Stage which is the management to manage their actors.

"We thank all the actors who are with us and fans who show love for them. We will provide support until the end," YG Entertainment said on Friday, January 17.

YG also explained that they had spoken to actors individually about their personal contracts regarding the operational closure.

YG Entertainment revealed the reason they closed the actors' management was because they wanted to focus on music operationally.

"We are consistently carrying out business restructuring to focus on main operations. By 2025 we will do so so that this business will bear fruit," said YG Entertainment.

Previously, they had closed the YGX training center and turned it into a Global Training Center to focus on training trainers joining them. In addition, they also added in-house producers to 50 to strengthen their music production systems.

"By increasing existing IPs, we are also discovering and developing new IPs. By strengthening competence in the music industry, we aim to start new steps in YG development," he said.

YG Stage from YG Entertainment manages various actors and models such as Kim Hee Ae, Cha Seung Won, Jang Hyun Sung, Yoo In Na, Jung Hye Young, Yoo Seung Ho, Claudia Kim, Lee Sung Kyung, Jang Ki Yong, Lee Soo Hyuk, Kyeong Su Jin, and Han Seung Yeon.

They also oversee Son Na Eun, Seo Jeong Yeon, Jin Kyung, Kal So Won, Park Soi, Lee Ho Jung, Joo Woo Jae, Park Yoo Na and others.
