Ciel Tower, World's Highest Hotel Ready To Decorate Dubai Sky In 2025

JAKARTA - Dubai continues to amaze the world with extraordinary mega-structure projects. This year, the city will open the world's highest hotel, a monumental achievement in the world of architecture and hospitality.

Reported by VOI from the Zawya page on Thursday, January 16, 2025, the Ciel Tower, located in Dubai Marina, will be the tallest hotel building with a height of 373.5 meters. This makes him a new symbol of pride for the city.

The ambitious project was developed by The First Group, a leading property company in Dubai, and was built by China Railway 18th Bureau Group - Dubai (CR18BG), part of the China Railway Construction Corporation (CRCC).

Ciel Tower not only offers an amazing height, but also various luxury facilities making it an extraordinary tourist destination as well as a place to stay.

The hotel is planned to open by the end of 2025, with the delivery of the building scheduled for February 2025. According to a statement from CR18BG, the tower has a land area of 3,662 square meters and a building area of about 102,000 square meters.

"When opened in 2025, Ciel Tower will offer 1,004 hotel rooms, 306-meter outdoor infinity swimming pools, 353-meter-high celestial restaurants and a separate 12-level atrium celestial garden, which provides visitors to views from Dubai's iconic landscape, including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Harbor, and Palm Jumeirah," read a statement from the contractor.

The tower has a hyperbolic architectural display, with a high-altitude victory arch design and an observation platform that offers unforgettable views of heights.

The high tower will also home to advanced technologies, including the use of light prefabricated concrete wall panels, strong concrete, and a wastewater treatment system to support environmental sustainability.

"The completion of the Ciel Tower success is a new achievement for Chinese companies in the global super high building sector," said Zhou Lin, general manager of CR18BG.

"This achievement highlights CR18BG's commitment to the Belt and Road initiative and makes it an amazing new panorama on Dubai's ceiling," he added.

Since its start in May 2020, the project team has implemented a Building Information Modeling (BIM) system for the entire project cycle, which allows for the identification of risk points and technical challenges in the early stages.

"As a result, the company managed to overcome more than ten main construction challenges, including the 'Y'-shaped giant column as high as 10 meters, a 15-meter sky park, and the installation of a 10m/s high-speed observation elevator," Zhou said.

The project also combines Chinese concepts and technologies, such as light concrete prefabricated wall panels, strong concrete, and other new materials.

In addition, they implement a wastewater treatment system to recycle water, showing a commitment to environmental sustainability.

CR18BG has built more than 70 projects in the last 20 years, including 13 super-high buildings above 100 meters. The CRCC parent company is involved in road construction, trains, hydro projects, stakeholders, and metro systems around the world.
