Hyper Knives To Tempest, 8 Latest Korean Dramas Will Air In 2025!

JAKARTA - A number of the latest Korean dramas are confirmed to air in 2025. Disney + Hotstar revealed a series of titles starring various top Korean actors and actresses.

After being announced on Disney APAC Content Showcase 2024, this series of dramas revealed the latest details of their project to the public.

Here are 8 new Korean dramas that will air in 2025:

Kim Hye Soo's latest drama tells the story of an investigative news team that takes into account their lives after making a controversial report. Their career is on the brink, but they have to save their job until they are asked to solve the disappearance of a famous actor for 20 years. Unmasked, who also starred Jung Sungil and Joo Joonghyuk, will air starting January 15.

Hyper Knife tells of Seok (Park Eun Bin), a visionary neurosurgeon who continues to exceed the limits of his ability in the operating room. Tortured by his desire to be perfect, Seok suddenly finds himself eliminated and lost his license after a dispute with his mentor. Secretly, Seok carried out operations in a hidden place until one day his mentor came asking for help. Hyper Knives is also played by Seol Kyung Gu and airs starting March 19.

Knock-Off tells the story of Sungjun (Kim Soo Hyun), a man who is devastated by the 1997 economic crisis trying to build his life by dominating the market for counterfeit goods. This drama is also played by Jo Bo Ah.

Kim Dami and Son Seok Ku competed roles in the series Nine Puzzles which tells the story of Yoon Ena (Kim Da Mi), a criminal profiler with a tragic past, caught in a deadly game designed by a serial killer. Determined to catch the killer before they attack again, Ena teamed up with her biggest critic, investigator Kim Hanseam (Son Seok Ku), in a story that will keep the audience guessing who did it to the end.

Set in Korea in the '70s, Low Life tells the story of an uncle and nephew who are willing to do any job in order to earn a little money. Struggling to make ends meet, both are tasked with taking ancient treasures. Ryu Seung Ryong, Yang Se Jong and Lim Soo Jung play a role in the series.

Played by Gianna Jun and Kang Dong Won, the Tempest series is one of the most anticipated titles. Tempest tells the story of Munju, an accomplished diplomat and former ambassador to the United Nations, along with Sanho, an international special agent, as they compete to reveal the truth behind attacks that threaten the stability of the Korean peninsula. The series also stars John Cho, Michael Gaston, Spencer pandemic, Christopher Gorham, Alicia Hannah-Kim, Jacob Bertrand, and many more.

The Murky Stream tells the story of Jang Siyul, a man who hides his past from becoming a local gangster, Jung Chun who dreams of becoming an honest military officer, and Choi Eun, a wise and with integrity figure. The series stars Rowoon, Shin Yeeun, Park Seoham, and Park Jihwan in the Joseon setting.

Ji Chang Wook plays Taejung, a man who experiences injustice in prison for a crime case. He is looking for a mysterious figure named Yohan (Doh Kyungsoo) who is the figure behind his destruction. The Manipulated also played by Lee Kwang Soo and Jo Yoon Su.
