In the social activity entitled Marine Waste Cleaning Action initiated by the Ministry of Environment, Bali Police have deployed around 500 people, including students.

Menpar revealed that the clean action of marine debris was in line with the declaration of a clean tourism movement which was one of the flagship programs of the Ministry of Tourism in 2025.

He hopes that the involvement of the government and community components, including those from Poltekpar Bali universities, will serve as an example to support clean homeland tourist destinations.

Meanwhile, the Director of Bali Police, Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, M.Kes, on the same occasion added that his party was trying to support the government's efforts to advance tourism and preserve nature.

"As Balinese people, we are aware that tourism plays an important role in the economic sector, especially this holiday season," he said.

Puja added that his party is trying to contribute to increasing the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
