Universal Pictures Releases New Trailer For Fast & Furious 9

JAKARTA - Today, April 15, Universal Pictures released a new trailer for Fast & Furious 9 (F9) to tempt viewers ahead of its broadcast.

This time, the trailer features Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) meeting his younger brother, Jakob (John Cena). Then, an assassin teamed up with Dom's old enemy, Cipher (Charlize Theron).

Jakob's presence in Dom's life is not for a reunion, but a plan of revenge because his brother is said to have betrayed him.

As one of the most successful film franchises, Universal continues to update stories from the world of Fast & Furious, including F9. Initially this film was scheduled for release in April 2019 and then postponed due to the release of the Hobbs & Shaw spinoffs and No time to Die.

Then they postponed it again because the pandemic started in 2020. This film is also eagerly awaited by fans as it is the last two parts of the Fast & Furious franchise.

Directed by Justin Lin, the new trailer features a remix of Kanye West's Selah in accompaniment to the trailer. Fast & Furious 9 will open from June 25 in theaters. Watch the new trailer below.
