Loss Up To IDR 56 Billion, Natasha Wilona Reports Alleged Violations Of Copyright Brand Beauty

JAKARTA - Celebrity Natasha Wilona reported a cosmetic product, PT Indah Mitra Anugerah, to the authorities after allegedly violating the ITE Law and fraud. This started when Natasha Wilona worked together as a beauty model with the cosmetic product whose contract ended in October 2020.

“The complainant explained that the complainant is a model whose photo image is used for packaging Marswillow Brand Cosmetics products,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Ade Ary in a media release, Friday, December 20.

“Based on the contract letter of Cooperation Agreement with PT Indah Mitra Anugerah which expired in October 2020,” he continued.

Even though the contract has expired, photos and images of Natasha Wilona are still being used by the cosmetic product.

Even the photos and images were traded online and offline after a letter of reprimand was sent from Natasha Wilona's side.

“However, until now the photos and images of the Complainant are still used in the cosmetic product and are traded online / offline even though a letter of reprimand has been sent twice,” he said.

Because it was considered that there was no good faith, Natasha Wilona finally reported this incident to the Polda Metro Jaya authorities since Thursday, December 19 yesterday.

“For this incident, the complainant felt aggrieved, then the complainant came to the SPKT Polda Metro Jaya to make a Police Report for further investigation and investigation,” said Ade Ary.

For this incident, it is suspected that Natasha Wilona suffered losses of up to IDR 56 billion. “With a loss of Rp.56,000,000,000,” he said.
