Item Fashion To Sports Needs Predicted To Become A Shopping Trend 2025

JAKARTA - Approaching the new year, various trends that will emerge in 2025 are predicted, including related to fashion. In 2025, people are said to be increasingly busy buying fashion needs for exercise.

This was revealed by the Commercial Director of Zalora Indonesia, Victor Yap. He said that sports activities in Indonesia, which in 2024 have become a trend of increasing boom in 2025.

Thus, the need for fashion to exercise is also increasing. It is said that more people will buy running shoes or gyms by 2025.

"It illustrates what will be done a lot, what is booming in Indonesia. Examples for running shoes and gyms will be focused, we have seen the trend this year, it will be even more booming next year, for running products," said Victor Yap in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

Victor Yap said that the sports needs that will be purchased the most are still dominated by shoes. Sports shoes from international brands will still be dominantly purchased by the public.

"Mostly for shoes, yes. For common clothes, the market is also mix, there are local brands and international brands. For clothes that are more affrodable towards local brands, international brand shoes are still more dominant," he explained.

Not only that, Victor also conveyed the fashion color trend next year. He said that brand-brand fashion will launch items with relaxed colors.

"Many brands will play in color-color which is more relaxed next year (for fashion)," concluded Victor Yap.
