JAKARTA - A highly anticipated international festival, the Bali International Film Festival (Balinale) will hold its 18th annual event on the Island of the Gods Bali on June 1-7, 2025.
In 2024 (17th edition), Balinale screened 60 films representing 25 countries with winners selected from 24 films included in the competition. The competition began after the 2025 Balinale announced Call for Submissions and invited creative, unique and inspiring independent works from Indonesia and around the world.
Films from all genres: narrative-length films and documentaries, as well as short films: narrative, documentaries and inspiring, impressive and entertaining animations, will be considered as participants.
