Venna Melinda Presents 3 Witnesses Regarding Alleged Domestic Violence Ferry Irawan At The Divorce Session

JAKARTA - The divorce trial for the Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan couple was again held at the South Jakarta Religious Court with the agenda of witness testimony from Venna Melinda's side. Venna presented three witnesses, namely her parents and a driver who had worked for 25 years with her.

The mother of three children explained that the three witnesses were presented to provide information regarding the alleged domestic violence committed by Ferry Irawan when he was married.

"(Witnesses) from the family, namely mom and dad, the other from outside is my driver who has worked for up to 25 years. So these 3 witnesses who stated that they saw, felt that the person concerned was not suitable for almost 2 years with the domestic violence case," said Venna Melinda at the South Jakarta Religious Court, Thursday, November 28.

Not only witnesses, Venna was also asked by the panel of judges about the reasons for which she was confident in filing for divorce from Ferry Irawan.

"Earlier, the judge also asked for information from me briefly. Thank God, the judges all listened well. I am very happy today," said Venna.

Venna emphasized that she and Ferry had never communicated again. For him, the alleged case of domestic violence has become the basic reason he is reluctant to have contact with his husband.

"No (there is communication), in my opinion, the domestic violence case is sufficient, so I can act decisively, who else protects ourselves if not ourselves. So for me enough, yesterday (I) have the right to be happy," said Venna.

Therefore, Venna hopes that the panel of judges can immediately inaugurate her divorce from Ferry Irawan so that she can return to happiness.

"Hopefully this decision is final and finished. All life must have a trial. As long as we are right, we will definitely get the best. God is never wrong," said Venna.
