JAKARTA - Jung Ho Yeon and Lee Dong Hwi ended their relationship after 9 years. This news stems from reports from a number of local South Korean media.

Tuesday, November 26, the two agencies separately confirmed the news. They said the two would remain good friends.

Company On as Lee Dong Hwi's agency explained, "It's true that Lee Dong Hwi just ended his relationship."

Lee Dong Hwi's agency declined to explain the reason they broke up after almost nine years of dating. Jung Ho Yeon's agency also confirmed the news.

"Actors Jung Ho Yeon and Lee Dong Hwi decided to separate. They will remain good colleagues," said Saram Entertainment as Jung Ho Yeon's agency.

Jung Ho Yeon and Lee Dong Hwi started dating in 2015. At that time, Jung Ho Yeon was active as a model and had not debuted as an actor.

The two of them never performed together, but they were very open to talking to each other in public.

In 2016, they were confirmed to be dating for a year. Both Jung Ho Yeon and Lee Dong Hwi have never acted in a single project.

Jung Ho Yeon made his acting debut in 2022 through the Squid Game series and gained popularity, while Lee Dong Hwi actively played a number of films and dramas including The Roundup: Punishment, The Plot, and Chief Detective 1958 which aired this year.
