Nirina Zubir's Gratitude After Receiving The 2024 FFI Best Female Leading Actor Award

JAKARTA - Celebrity Nirina Zubir won the Best Female Leading Actor award at the 2024 Indonesian Film Festival (FFI) after 18 years of the film Falling Love Like in the Films.

Nirina Zubir could not hold back tears over this award because she understood how difficult it was to work on this film.

"Before seeing this, look at Instagram, after 18 years, I'm holding this again, thank God this is thanks to extraordinary collaboration. Why am I crying, because I know this film has an extraordinary struggle," said Nirina Zubir at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Wednesday, November 20.

For Nirina herself, the film Jatuh Cinta As in the films has become a form of maturity in acting in Indonesian cinema.

"Thank you Yandy for trusting me and Ringgo to play this character, it takes maturity to play this film," continued Nirina Zubir.

At the end of the sentence, Nirina advised that black and white films could promise to be included in the award.

"For Indonesian filmmakers, believe me that a gentle black and white film, which was previously rejected everywhere, can get an FFI award," he said.

"Believe me, Indonesian films will continue to develop and vary in the future, let's make Indonesian films with different genres," continued Nirina Zubir.
