JAKARTA - The XIV 2024 Indonesian Journalist Film Festival Award (FFWI) will be held at the RRI Jakarta Building on Saturday, November 16. This award night was attended by filmmakers, actors, actresses, and important figures in the creative industry, as well as an appreciation for Indonesian film people.

This event also made a new national film history with the presence of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, Fadli Zon, who was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Giring Ganesha, at the opening of the event. This is a historic moment because FFWI is the first film festival to be attended by the newly appointed Minister and Deputy Minister of Culture.

This year, Joko Anwar's film 'Saksa Grave' and produced by Tia Hasibuan won the award as Best Film for the Horror genre as well as won the prestigious Best of the Best FFWI XIV 2024 award.

Meanwhile, the inaugural award of the Special Gunungan Cup was given to Home Sweet Loan, a film that succeeded in describing the problems of the younger generation of Indonesia in obtaining housing.
