WandaVision Creator Reveals Why He Chose Evan Peters As Pietro

JAKARTA - Disney+'s original series WandaVision is over. However, there are many questions that arise and still make fans curious.

One of them is the presence of Evan Peters. Fans wonder why Peters plays Pietro, Wanda's younger sister. Jac Schaeffer as the creator of WandaVision has his reasons.

"We had grief counselors come into the room (screenwriters), and we researched grief and a lot (written) about how one remembers faces", he says in the cynic The Empire Film.

"The anxiety of not remembering a loved one's face, misremembering, or actively misremembering is a self-defense tactic – all of that appeals to us and we think by recruiting Evan in the role, this not only affects Wanda but also to the audience".

Schaeffer also reveals some things that happen between Wanda and Vision and certainly makes the audience more curious.

"Wanda is seen studying Darkhold in the cabin, White Vision is still out there, logical and emotionless. And we're just waiting for one of the things Marvel has ever made - now wait for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness to see what happens next".

Doctor Strange 2 is the fourth phase that has continuity with WandaVision's story.
