Open Communication With Nikita Mirzani, Lawyer Calls Laura Meizani Has Changed

JAKARTA - Nikita Mirzani's attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, told about the change in the daughter of her client, Laura Meizani, after being placed in a safe house related to the alleged immoral case of Vadel Badjideh.

Fahmi said that Laura was much calmer and started to return to being like her son Nikita Mirzani.

"Yes, much calmer. I say this is Laura. This is Nikita's Laura. She is calmer. She believes in herself too. So it's not what you've seen. But this is really very different. Thank God I said. It's really done with maximum protection," said Fahmi Bachmid at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday, October 18.

Although still at home safe, Laura has opened communication with her mother by sending a request through a note.

"There are several requests from Laura that I have to convey to her mother. Requests. Some items. I'll tell you later," said Fahmi Bachmid.

Fahmi said that this message contained Laura's request to send back some items that were allegedly needed for her daily needs.

"I don't know (what the request is), but the record is there. (Given) to the direct officer. The needs, maybe needs, daily needs," explained Fahmi Bachmid.

Fahmi added that he suspected that Laura's request this time was different from the previous one where he asked to send a reading book.

"No, the request is different again. Later I will ask Niki, ask what," he said.
