JAKARTA - Netflix's latest competition event, Culinary Class Wars is confirmed to continue into its second season. The show will resume its second competition just weeks after its first season is released.

Tuesday, October 15, Netflix announced that the production of the second season of the Culinary Class Wars event will be held soon. This event will be the first Korean event to rank first on Global Netflix's Top 10 with non-English.

"We will return with a second season. The cooking competition event which is judged only based on a 'Culinary Class Wars' flavor is confirmed for the second season," tweeted Netflix Korea.

Culinary Class Wars was released on September 17. For three weeks, the show managed to occupy the Global Top 10 and its popularity has also spread throughout the world.

This event is a cooking competition that is attended by 100 participants, of which 80 participants will compete with 20 top chefs to be the best.

Baek Jong Won and Ahn Sung Jae are the judges of these 12 episodes. As two popular celebrity chefs, they are faced with a fight between 100 participants.

This event was directed by Kim Hak Min and Kim Eun Ji and written by Mo Eun Seol. During the first week of release, this event has been watched up to 4 million views.

In addition, the production team has not revealed when Culinary Class Wars 2 will be released.
