The Names Of Zaskia And Irwansyah's Children Were Taken From One Of The Prophet's Companions, Ukkasyah Bin Mihshan

JAKARTA - The celebrity couple Zaskia Sungkar and Irwansyah have just been blessed with a son. The couple's cute baby was named Ukkasya Muhammad Syahki.

Ukkasya Muhammad Syahki Born through a cesarean section weighing 3.4 kg and 51 cm high at the Mother and Child Hospital, Jakarta.

"Thank you all for your prayers and extraordinary support," Zaskia said in an online press conference, Friday, April 2.

Zaskia and Irwansyah shared the background of naming their sons. The name Ukkasya is taken from one of the names of the Prophet Muhammad's companions, Ukkasyah bin Mihshan. Meanwhile, Syahki stands for Irwansyah and Zaskia.

"The name Ukkasya we heard when we were studying, he was one of the Prophet's friends. When we heard how funny his name was Ukkasya, I hope he can be a brave and pious child too," said Zaskia.

Zaskia and Irwansyah decided to undergo a cesarean delivery process, even though at first she really wanted to give birth normally. However, due to medical problems, both of them and the doctor in charge decided to do cesarean delivery.

"We discussed this but at that time the pregnancy was 39 weeks and the position to the birth canal was still far away. We said we tried to wait for up to 40 weeks, but in the end it was decided to just cesarean no need to wait until 40 weeks, this is the best choice," said dr. Reino Rambey.

Zaskia and Irwansyah also apologized to their family and closest friends who wanted to meet their children because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We really really want to share our happiness directly, but because it is still a pandemic what can we do. At home we also can't accept guests, so we really ask for understanding," said Zaskia.
